To adjust chute rotator cable tension (A)
1. Adjust cable tension by loosening the jam nuts (B) next to the turn buckle
(C).
2. Grasp the short section and hold while turning the long section to lengthen
the adjuster (C).
3. Adjust until cable is snug and tighten jam nuts.
Auger performance and cable adjustment
NOTE:
If you do not feel comfortable making this adjustment yourself, please
contact an authorized service center/department.
Adjustments may be needed if the impeller and auger rotation is sluggish
when engaging the auger control lever, or if the auger belt has been replaced.
To adjust the auger control cable (D):
1. Adjust cable tension by loosening the jam nut (B), next to the turn buckle
(C).
2. Grasp the short section and hold, while turning the long section to lengthen
the adjuster (C). Rotate the center barrel one full revolution.
3. Retest auger engagement. Repeat adjustment as needed until engagement
is no longer sluggish.
4. Have an assistant stand 10 feet in front of the machine, and on the opposite
side that the chute is pointing. The assistant should observe the rotation
of the auger and measure the time it takes for the auger to stop rotating
after you release the lever.
If the auger stops rotating after 5 seconds, readjust the cable by rotating the
center barrel one full revolution, so that the adjuster is contracting. Retest
the auger engagement and measure the stop time again.
If the auger stops rotating in less than 5 seconds, proceed to the next step.
5. Tighten the jam nut on the auger cable.
NOTE:
If the adjustment does not resolve the problem, replace the auger belt.

So stellen sie die seilzugspannung des leitblech-drehelements ein (A)
1. Stellen Sie die Seilzugspannung durch Lösen der Kontermuttern (B) neben dem Spannschloss (C) ein.
2. Fassen Sie fest das kürzere Stück und drehen Sie den längeren Teil, um den Spanner (C) zu verlängern.
3. Stellen Sie den Seilzug so ein, dass er fest anliegt, und ziehen Sie dann die Kontermuttern fest.
Schneckenleistung und steuerkabeleinstellung
HINWEIS:
Wenn Sie diese Anpassung nicht selbst vornehmen wollen, wenden Sie sich an eine autorisierte Kundendienststelle.
Wenn die Drehung des Lüfterrads oder der Schnecke bei Betätigung des Schneckensteuerhebels schwergängig ist oder der
Keilriemen der Schnecke ersetzt wurde, können Anpassungen notwendig sein.
So stellen Sie das Steuerkabel der Schnecke (D) ein:
1. Stellen Sie die Kabelspannung ein, indem Sie die Gegenmutter (B) neben dem Spannerschloss (C) lösen.
2. Fassen Sie das kurze Stück, halten Sie es fest und drehen Sie das lange Stück, um den Spanner (C) zu verlängern. Drehen
Sie den mittleren Zylinder einmal vollständig.
3. Betätigen Sie die Schnecke erneut. Wiederholen Sie die Einstellvorgänge so lange, bis die Betätigung nicht mehr schwergängig
ist.
4. Eine zweite Person soll sich mit 3 Meter Abstand vor die dem Auswurf gegenüberliegenden Seite der Maschine stellen. Diese
Person soll die Drehung der Schnecke beobachten und die Zeit messen, die vom Loslassen des Hebels bis zum Stillstand
der Schnecke vergeht.
Wenn die Schnecke nach 5 Sekunden zum Stillstad kommt, stellen Sie das Kabel durch eine vollständige Umdrehung des
mittleren Zylinders so ein, dass der Spanner verkürzt wird. Betätigen Sie die Schnecke erneut und messen Sie die Zeit bis zum
Stillstand noch einmal.
Wenn die Schnecke in weniger als 5 Sekunden zum Stillstand kommt, fahren Sie mit dem nächsten Schritt fort.
5. Ziehen Sie die Gegenmutter am Schneckenkabel an.
HINWEIS:
Wenn der Einstellvorgang das Problem nicht beseitigt, ersetzen Sie den Keilriemen der Schnecke. Siehe „Austausch
der Keilriemen“ im Abschnitt Service & Einstellungen in diesem Handbuch.
