Hardware Installation

Please follow exactly the steps described below, then a
reliable operation of the LINDY PC radio clock should be
guaranteed.

1. Check which one of your USB ports are available.

Connect the radio clock to an available USB port.
Make sure to position the module not too close to
the monitor or other electronic devices that may
generate high frequency electromagnetical radiation.

Driver Installation for Windows

W indows will now recognize the ‘Expert Mouse Clock USB’
and start the Add New Hardware W izard. Insert the ‘Treiber’
diskette into your diskette drive. Click ‘Next’ . Choose ‚Look
for the best driver (recommended)’ and click ‚Next’. In the
following dialogue choose ‘Disk drives’ and confirm with
‘Next’.
W indows will now display the driver that has been found.
After a click on ‘Next’ it will be installed. If W indows asks for a
path, say ‘A:\’ and confirm with ‘OK’. After the required files
have been copied, finish the installation with a click on
‘Complete’.

Software Installation

Open the start menu and choose ‘Run’. In the following
dialogue say ’A:\setup.exe’ and confirm with ‘OK’. Follow the
instructions appearing on the screen.

Installation der Hardware

Bitte folgen Sie genau den Anweisungen zur Installation der
LINDY PC-Funkuhr. Dann dürfte ein zuverlässiger Betrieb
keine Probleme bereiten. Prüfen Sie, welche USB-Schnitt-
stellen an Ihrem Rechner noch nicht belegt sind. Schließen
Sie das Empfangsmodul an die von Ihnen ausgewählte USB-
Schnittstelle an. Achten Sie darauf, den Empfänger nicht zu
nah am Monitor oder anderen elektrischen Geräten zu
platzieren.

Installation der Treiber für Windows

W indows wird nun den Hardware-Assistenten starten und die
Expert Mouse Clock USB erkennen. Legen Sie die mit
"Treiber" beschriftete Diskette in Ihr Laufwerk ein. Klicken Sie
auf "W eiter". W ählen Sie nun "Nach dem besten Treiber für
das Gerät suchen(empfohlen)" aus und klicken Sie auf
"W eiter". Im nächsten Dialog wählen Sie "Diskettenlaufwerke"
aus und bestätigen Sie mit "W eiter".
W indows wird Ihnen nun den gefundenen Treiber anzeigen.
Nach einem klick auf "W eiter" wird dieser installiert. Sollte
W indows nach dem Pfad für den Treiber fragen, geben Sie
"A:\" an und bestätigen Sie mit OK. Nachdem W indows die
benötigten Dateien kopiert hat können Sie mit einem Klick auf
"Fertig stellen" die Installation abschließen.

Installation der Software für Windows

Öffnen Sie das Startmenü und wählen Sie "Ausführen“.
Geben Sie im folgenden Dialog "A:\setup.exe" ein und
bestätigen Sie mit "OK". Folgen Sie nun den Bildschirm-
anweisungen.
